Pacific Palisades

GO BACK TO CITY LISTING

Pacific Palisades is an affluent neighborhood and district in the Westside of Los Angeles, with a population of 27,000 people. It is a popular area due to its attractive climate and community events. There are also large parks and hiking trails to explore while you are in the area.

In 1921, the Rev. Charles H. Scott and the Southern California Methodist Episcopal Church bought the land and founded Pacific Palisades, envisioning an elaborate religious-intellectual commune. Eventually, the initial tents were replaced by cabins, then by bungalows, and ultimately by the multimillion-dollar homes we see today.

Gamino Decor has had the pleasure of doing custom furniture, upholstery, window treatments, and restoration projects for many of these multimillion-dollar homes. Below is an endorsement for one of our customers in the Pacific Palisades:

I have just returned from Isabel’s shop with six beautifully reupholstered chair seats. They match four reupholstered window seat cushions that my husband and I have been enjoying for two weeks. The workmanship is outstanding; the fit is perfect. Most important, all are very comfortable to sit on!

Isabel has impeccable taste, and an artist’s eye for color and form. She was able to negotiate with her suppliers to help me save on a pricey fabric that I fell in love with. Her prices are very fair, and her goal is outstanding design plus excellent customer service. No matter where you live, it will be worth the drive to Burbank so that you can do business with Isabel. I can’t wait to bring her something else to transform!
